The Wood Watch + GIVEAWAY

Styling wood watches

It’s been a rainy few weeks in Chicago. I haven’t pulled out my spring or summer wardrobe yet and I’ve been more inclined to stick to my darker color palette these days – which is actually super sad considering it’s May and we should be soaking in some sun with a cool breeze right now. With this darker palette, I’ve loved including the JORD wood watch with my outfits.

The Wood Watch + GIVEAWAY!

I’ve never had a watch with a rectangular face before – and I haven’t seen many people rocking it either – so I was immediately drawn to this style watch – the JORD Reece Series. Although I do shop fast fashion and trends, I always try to go out of my way to find pieces that are different from the norm. I love finding new brands or taking a trip to the thrift store to make sure I have a nice mix of options in my closet. The JORD wood watch is definitely a step outside my comfort zone.

The JORD watch is super lightweight on my wrist and the color and style of this wood watch makes for the perfect transition piece between the winter and spring seasons. I styled the watch with this camouflage top (similar here and here), black denim (similar here), a faux leather jacket (similar here and here) and nude shoes (here).

I’m also doing a GIVEAWAY with JORD to give you guys a chance to win $100 credit towards any watch of your choice on the JORD site! You can enter the giveaway by clicking here. One lucky person will win $100 towards their purchase but everyone who enters will receive a code for $25 off your JORD watch – so basically, everyone is a winner! The giveaway ends on Sunday, May 14.
